Expertly crafted speakers and brand new microphone allow 50R to provide an unparalleled helmet audio experience. Speakers send crystal-clear sound to the motorcyclist's ears, and a microphone with a newly designed sensor provides robust voice communication while riding.

Sena's patented Mesh Intercom™ provides a robust level of reliable intercom connectivity and intelligent routing management for an adaptive and autonomous communications network.

The innovative hint-and-response system between Sena Mesh headsets has resulted in a staggering increase of of 80% more data transmitted in challenging and demanding environments, providing excellent intercom sound quality with a solid connection.

In addition, information sharing between connected devices is done in real time at breakneck speed, allowing Sena Mesh technology to instantly assess the optimal path for delivering messages to all network participants.

SINGLE UNIT. THREE INTERCOM MODES.

the 50R offers three different intercom modes: Group Mesh Intercom, Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom and Bluetooth Intercom.

With Group Mesh, you will create a single, private group that supports up to 24 participants for up to 5 miles / 8 km (minimum of 6 riders at 1 mile / 1.6 km intervals)! Users are invited to Group Mesh, which provides additional control and privacy.

Multi-Channel Open Mesh enables communication with virtually any participant in the Mesh network within a range of up to 8 km. Open Mesh also offers multi-channel options, for the first time in the industry! With nine channels available, you can switch to a new frequency to talk to different driving groups within the larger Open Mesh group.

Finally, a traditional Bluetooth intercom mode completes the third communication option. All drivers and their ever-changing driving scenarios are sure to benefit from the incredible flexibility and technology developed in the 50R Mesh and Bluetooth intercom modes.

ENHANCED VOICE COMMANDS FOR ENHANCED CONTROL

Take control of the 50R without lifting a finger. Voice commands provide contactless control of the 50R, operation of selected functions, including Open Mesh input or answering phone calls.

Just speak the command and 50R will work for you. the 50R supports multilingual voice commands, responding to eight different languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese.

The most powerful improvement to the 50R's voice commands is the new hands-free direct access to Google or Siri via smartphone! "Hey Siri, please give me directions to the nearest hotel!" "Hey Google, what is today's weather forecast for Sturgis?"

No buttons, no other preliminary commands.

50R connects to everything Google Assistant and Apple's Siri have to offer... and all this while you are driving on the highway! Get access to phone numbers, music apps. Driving on Connected couldn't be easier.

Low power 50R? With a new high-capacity battery and technical improvements to the fast-charging function, the 50R charges 30% faster than previous units thanks to Fast Charge!

Plug it in for just 20 minutes and you get 3.5 hours of operation Mesh Intercom™ or 6 hours of Bluetooth intercom operation. The device takes just one hour to fully charge and provides 8 hours of Mesh communication or 13 hours of Bluetooth intercom calls!

The included WiFi adapter is used to charge the 50R and also provides automatic updates software system via wireless network. Uploading all the latest software updates to your Sena headset has never been easier!
